PPM Surveys - Channing School

Evans Jones were appointed by Channing School to complete a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) survey and a Disabled Access Audit for both their junior and senior school buildings.

We were instructed to review the condition, overall state of repair and accessibility of the school and to prepare a budget cost assessment for any repairs, alterations and maintenance works for the forthcoming 10 year period.

The main challenge was to ensure consistent results were delivered across a mix of building types in just 2 days on site. The inspections were also carried out during term time, so we had to ensure minimal disruption to the everyday working of the school, its staff and pupils.

We provided detailed assessments, within a tight time frame, by using our team of trained in-house auditors. We devised a bespoke report format, advising on each individual building and set out clear priority ratings so that the client could budget and schedule the necessary works accordingly.
