Evans Jones project management team had to take on A very large multi-million-pound project, the site had been vacant for over 20 years and is one of the last areas to be developed adjacent to Bristol’s Floating Harbour.

Evans Jones had to project manage the provision of 142 new build apartments for open market sale, shared ownership and social renting together with the provision of commercial areas on the ground floor.
Evans Jones expert opinion was sought on the feasibility of renovating an existing warehouse and we liaised with the heritage team to explain why the site was unsafe, contaminated and that demolition was the most viable route without compromising the nature of the area. Evans Jones then had to overcome procurement challenges and the removal of extensive fly tipped material.
The Results:
Evans Jones worked as the client’s agent to manage contractors and third parties to ensure everyone’s needs were achieved within the consented design.
We are undertaking a continuous review of the redevelopment as it progresses to ensure that despite financial constraints and procurement challenges the scheme meets the client’s investment viability. Due to complete in 2024.
